I paired this up with a '99 Produttori from Rio Sordo tonight. Like the Produttori, this also displays very ripe fruit on the nose, but not nearly to the degree that the Rio Sordo does.
Nicely balanced on the palate, with good acidity for lift. This feels livelier and fresher than the Produttori tonight, and also seems to have more time in front of it.

This is lighter in the glass than the Scavino Carobric and has a prettier nose, but is not as substantive on the palate. Both my wife and I had a slight preference for the Scavino tonight, but both wines have merit.

Light translucent ruby in the glass, with candied cherry fruit and menthol on the nose. Still fairly primary on the nose.
Still a little tightly wound on the palate, so you could see this getting a little more expansive with additional age, but this is also pretty delicious right now, so if you like your reds with some firm structure, this could be in your wheelhouse.

Translucent ruby in the glass, with roses and red fruits on the nose.
Light-bodied, tart red fruit, good acidity -- this is nice, but still early (at least IMO) during the time when Brovia was "upping it's game", so at the end of the day, good as opposed to great. If you like a rustic streak to your Nebbiolo, this should be right up your alley.

Translucent Ruby in the glass; nose is pleasant, with red fruits, but somewhat unfocused.
Rustic on the palate - this is good, but the Garblet Sue I had next to it was better.
