  • Unbelievably disappointing for a Grand Cru - The wine was bitter too much tannin and closed - Louis latour never fails to disappoint

  • Tasted a couple of hours after opening.

Well I think that this is showing really great! The fruit is fading away, though there is some red cherry and red plum left, but the scene is taken by secondary aromas like toast, coffee and nutmeg and by those from bottle ageing as leather, earth and dried leaves. Much complexity and lots of nuances to enjoy.
Still nice acidity, with medium body and fine tannins. The tannins are especially nice, not too rough, not too soft.

Very long aftertaste! It went on and on and on! I am really impressed, though it is approaching its peek and I would rather drink it now or very soon than risking lose the remaining fruit.
