  Deep maroon. Gave this about an hour of air time in a decanter as it showed a blast of oak on the nose when I popped the cork. Once it breathed, it showed lovely classic aromatics of black and red fruit along with some tobacco and some poblano pepper. The palate showed some excellent pure fruit and is really ready to go with the short air exposure. Black cherry is the word here with some earthy components, a string of more green pepper through the mid palate and some red currant through the back. Some good acidity, but tannins have largely resolved making this a good one to drink now. Long finish.

  Big aromatics of gravel, tobacco and pine needles, but this is far too vegetal for me, and I don't require a ton of fruit to be happy. The finish is long, but it's acid-driven only and a bit sour-edged.

  A very good wine right now and possibly for the next 2 to 3 years, maybe longer although I wouldn't buy any now for long term cellaring.
  
  Slightly brickish rimage, a nose of black currant, mint, and cedar box followed by a palate of berries, mint, graphite and soft tannin with a finish that lasts 15 to 20 seconds. Well made and good balance if not a bit light at its current age.

  Red & a bit of red brick. Looks mature. Nice nose. A little thin, a little bit acid, but i is french. Sour cherries on the finish. Tannins fine, drink now is ok.
