  This was a controversial wine with some liking it and others not - it has a classic DRC nose that is quite honest. It does not escape the weakness of the vintage as can be seen in this wine's shortness on the palate, but it has retained its sweetness, purity and lovely character. Not profound and clearly a challenged year but yet - a lovely wine. Naturally, it declined quickly with time in the glass.
