Had at Wine Club. Has come together more than last time. Amber colour. Apricots, honey, orange marmalade and botrytis. Good acidity. All enjoyed it. Still has plenty of life.

23 years of aging has brought out tertiary notes of butterscotch and raisin. However it has lost a lot of acidity and complexity and was in my view overly sweet at this point. Was disappointed.
Small glass with dessert. Loads of apricot, marmelade, quince jelly. A touch one dimensional but perhaps too young still? Not as ethereal as d’Yquem but splitiing hairs here. 93-4 lovely

Past its thrilling peak of complexity. The buoyant fruit and lifting acidity have subsided leaving a still unctuous and delicious Sauternes that is now leaning into middle age. Drink now.

(Château Rieussec) Brown sugar and coconut nose; good coconut, tropical fruit palate with orange peel and good acidity; medium-plus finish (great with Citizen Cake's Retro Tropical Shag Cake)
(Rieussec) White flowers, honey, bright tangerine, marmalade and botrytis. The palate just had it all going on. Opulent and rich with unbelievable texture. Great acidity and explosive finish. Easily the class of these.

This lived up to its rating, in spades! An unctuous, totally delicious wine.
