Wine has improved with age. Still very much intact with very minor oxidation. Could stay in bottle for 5-7 years for sure. Drinking nicely and group tasting couldn’t believe age.

A blend of 80% Carménère and 20% Cabernet Sauvignon from 35-120 year old vines. 14.5% alcohol. Opened at Smoke in Miami with Emilio. Not decanted. Dark purple color. A round and medium bodied wine. Notes of ripe berries and currant. Chewy tannins. Round finish. 92 points.

Mini-vertical tasting of '05, '08, '10. Very different from the '05 and '10 vintages because of the much heavier Carmenere content (80%). More plum than cassis, with exotic spices that the other two don't produce. Long finish. Will watch this one develop with interest...

Past it's peak, metallic taste with note of licorice. Wouldn't let these sit, drink now

Big but well balanced. Drinking well right now. Nice cassis and dried cherries. Earthy and meaty. Much better than a year ago.
