Acker BYO Holiday Dinner (Tribeca Grille): Drinking incredibly well. I'm surprised at how very young this wine is. It was a quick taste so don't have lots of detailed notes. Caramel, dried fruit tomato paste, and leather. Very flavorful. Can tell that it has some age, but it's not overdone.

Krug Dinner (Yusho - Chicago IL): Decanted an hour+ before serving. Incredibly dark color. Black fruit aromas with good floral background. Starts with big and powerful fruit on palate with a slightly sweet, slightly caramelized character. Picks up elegance from middle to end, finishing with a real sense of charm and finesse.

Good color, good fill, bad bottle. I had modest hopes when first tasted, which quickly faded away along with anything interesting in this wine. So sad.

Low fill, into shoulder. Not oxidised, but not in good condition. A definite astringency to the finish, bitter black tea etc. No.
