  This, my last bottle, is far superior to the one I opened three years ago. I held off opening thinking it had gone off the deep end. But I'm pleased to say that nothing of the sort happened; it's drinking very nicely. Still has soft but noticeable tannins, good fruit and acidity.

  Opaque with purple bubbles. Fruity aromas of blackberry, black cherry, and black plum. Enters the mouth with bright acidity, firm tannin, a streak of astringency, and a faint green vegetable taste. Dense but not very lush. Overall, drinkable but not as enjoyably delicious as past vintages.

  Update: -2 points. Graphite aroma was faint and didn't real add depth to the black current, violet, & cedar aromas & flavors. smooth, w/ fine;y woven tannins. Some acidity drives spicy finish.
