Pop and pour. In the glass, pale, slightly cloudy yellow. On the nose, equal parts honeysuckle and toasty oak. On the palate, lemon, orange, and smoke married to a lush, not-quite-viscous texture, with a long finish. While this is completely approachable now, I feel like there may still be several years at this level, and possibly even a bit more positive evolution.

Interestingly enough this was listed as a Roussanne on the wine menu. We drank it right after the Antica Terra Phantasi and I gotta say it just didn't live up. Came across as thin and much less interesting. More of a tart flavor to it. Holding off on scoring as I think it might just have been the two wines didn't work together.

Popped and poured. Fragrant nose with pineapple and other fresh tropical notes. Big fruit with a nice lingering finish and supple mouthfeel. My wife described it as buttery but I'm not sure of that. I'd call it more creamy. Bottom line is Mr. Pippig does not disappoint. I'm continually impressed by his wines and have found them to age gracefully.

Very dry, which gives the pineapple and orange notes a bit of a bitter finish, but in an enjoyable way. Rich and full bodied.

decent, but the finish was a bit odd.
