  • PnP, medium golden-yellow in color. Nose offers up a very fragrant, floral component at first, with white stone fruits like pear, then a bit of zing with orange zest and chalk. In the mouth, the wine is decidedly medium bodied, with beautifully integrated, chalky tannins, firm acidity, tangy white fruit notes, and a chalky finish that goes on for 20-30+ seconds. Very nice wine, great with food, drink up within next year, IMHO.

  • Pale yellow. Nose of honey, melon, and petrol. At first I thought this might have been over the hill, but it was still going strong. Notes of the honey, melon, apricot, and tropical fruits were still very present. A lovely wine that was persistent and paired well with the thai food tonight.

  • - Light gold color with medium forming legs and aromas of lemon, pineapple and orange blossom. It's balanced and has flavours of lemon, peach and pineapple with a medium body. Round texture with a medium finish - Initially i was worried i waited too long to open this wine. I was wrong, it is still drinking well, maybe has another year left in it. Faint straw in color. Nose of lemons and wet stones, with a hint of quince and tropical fruit. On the palate, the fruit opens first with nice tropical tones and a citrusy twang, which is nice. Could use a little more acid, but overall well balanced and a nice moderate length finish with a gorgeous minerality for 25-30 sec. Super!

  • Very nice Viognier, although I do not like this as much as some others. This seems to be a tiny bit "thin" in its flavor profile. All the components are there, but it really tastes a bit light, compared to some of the really great V's out there. But, it still is a nice effort and a great California Viognier.
