  Another great Barolo from LC. Wine over delivers and is no where near its end. Wonderful dark fruit, dried fruit with the beginnings of the savory notes. Just a wonderful well balanced fully integrated Barolo.

  Barolo Tasting (Restaurant Krietsch, Schwäbisch Gmünd): Wines tasted blind. Opened a few hours before the tasting.
  Glass: WMF red Wine
  Clear, deep ruby color. Nose was quite closed and muted. On the palate very salty, concentrated, dense and deep. Beautiful fruit, some underbrush and herbs. Feels very tight and not yet fully unfolded. Will probably need 5+ years to fully unfold. 92-93++

  Decanted for two hours. Lovely and elegant nose of rose, tar and herbs. The wine shows clean ripe black and red fruit, well integrated tannins in a fairly racy style typical of the vintage. This has reached early maturity but can continue to evolve for 5 to 10 years.
