- Greenish color with medium forming legs and aromas of pineapple and lemon. It's somewhat balanced and has flavours of lemon, cut green grass and honey with a medium body. Narrow texture with a medium finish - Green tinge on straw. Honeysuckle, pineapple on the noise. Slightly sweet, with crisp refreshness on the palette. Nice somewhat full mouth feel.
shared with pat at selkirk manor to celebrate the end of the work week. i remember tasting this at point of purchase and being impressed with qpr. the wine appears to be in a steady state. tasted much the same as it did a year ago. very refreshing. clean and crisp. i pick up on the sweetness, grass, lemon, minerals and honeysuckle. no bitterness noted. will probably continue to show well for at least another year although i am sure that this wine is intended to be enjoyed while relatively young. would buy again in this or more recent vintage.
I've finished almost half a case of these, and really enjoy them. However, they don't show well if too cold, and I almost gave up on the most recent bottle before it had a chance to warm and really shine. Slightly thick, a hint of sweetness, minerals and honeysuckle. A little bitterness on the back end, which detracts in my opinion, but my wife doesn't notice it.
