This improved with air time, so give this a nice decant if you can. Aromas and flavors of cherry, greens, bramble, and spice. The cab franc component is prominent. Although this still shows some fruit, I still consider this more French bordeaux than napa valley cab, especially at 13.5% ABV. The finish is a little dry/acidic, with some mouth puckering. However, this did pair well with a turkey meatloaf. Just not my style of Napa red...
Bouquet of red ripe dark red fruits, cassis, mild leather and tobacco. Medium body. The wine somewhat let down in the mouth expect full ripe red, but get somewhat restrained austere, acidic red. This is probably related to the Cab. Franc. overall good wine, but I think it's overpriced. Very nice label.
Seamless, modern, smooth, dense, fruit forward but still very elegant and fresh and with great structure and a point of balance, not just of view, with some herbal as well as spicy undertones. A wine to my liking! And one of the most priceworthy Napa reds I've had!
