  Dinner at Iki Ramen vol.II (Iki Ramen, Los Angeles CA): This was from magnum and was firing from the get-go with deep tones of freshly baked bread, golden grahams, nougat, brioche, nectarines, red apples, nougat, spiced pears, vanilla bean, and yellow flowers. The Medium bodied feel is rich, deep, and balanced with crisp, high acidity. The feel is gorgeous and flowing with a lot of texture that leads into a lengthy finish. This is a real beauty and shows off the joy that is a Rare with age.

  Lots going on with dish but orange paired nicely and butter helped stand up to richness of wine

  From magnum. Felt very youthful with some oxidative notes, good acidity and integrated bubbles. Yellow apples, lemon, brioche, nuts, and a good finish.
