Amazing and a treat to drink. After an hour or so open the nose exploded with tropical fruits. Passion fruit, candied pineapple. The same on the palate with tarragon and née plastic which was a positive and not a negative. Very intellectual. Lots of new flavors unfolding. We sat around sniffing and sipping and calling out new flavors. And as others have noted a very very light straw color. Superb. Glad I have one more.

Petrol, pineapple, mineral and unctuous lemony notes on the nose, with fruit and minerality carrying through to the palate. Gorgeous, clear straw color in the glass. Nice acidity balances the sweetness. Definitely better with food to balance the residual sugar here, but quite nice on its own.

PnP. Petrol and pineapple on the nose, the palate carries those through, but adds guava, car wax and stone fruit. Acidity helps this along and makes it a nice pairing to mildly spicy Indian fish curry.

19yrs old and gliding very nicely with bruised apples, citrus, slight petrol, honey, some wool and wax, a bit of jalapeno, some funk and still nice back end acids. Drank over a week and held strong.

The third bottle proved to be the charm. A nice wine, that still needs some time to open. Nothing spectacular, but certainly enjoyable. 88-89.
