  Decanted for 40 minutes. A very fullsome nose, deep dark fruit, licorice, even a hint of physalis. The palate is mellow, relaxed, very fruity, even a touch sweet (with food), good resolved tannins, but the alcohol is pushing through a bit. This is excellent now, at its peak, won't get better than this.

  This is outstanding in its elegance fine tannins and discrete power. A majestic wine that’s in a perfect drinking window on its 10th bday

  Decanted for an hour. Excellent nose of rasberries and lilac, strong but with an elegance. The palate is delicious, with raspberries and good tannins. This is really good right now, went very well with grilled pork and vegetables.

  Decanted for about an hour. This is a power wine, brooding on the nose, plums, blackberries, coffee, and at 15%, the alcohol is pushing through somewhat. The palate is also powerful, gritty tannins, sweet fruit, but still very smooth, the alcohol does not push through here. A big wine with lots to give, but still I felt that it was not overly pushy, in balance. Excellent! But I don't think this will last for very many years more, drink within 3 years.

  Sweet and ripe red fruits on the nose. On the palate, this is full bodied, big, ripe with nice tannins and medium long aftertaste. It doesn't seem to have 15% alc. Really good!
