Purple color. In the bouquet cerise, spices, sweet licorice and leather. On the palate cherry liquor chocolates, juicy fruits, a lot of herbs and spices e.g. clove, a touch of sweetness, medium acidity and round tannin with a soft and pleasant bite. This 80% Grenache and 20% Syrah offers an enjoyable and concentrated wine. Ready now and it will drink nicely until at least 2017.
Strong Grenache front end, with subtle floral notes from the Syrah on the finish. Wine seems to have all the right elements, but has not quite come together to be fully integrated. Maybe a little more time in the rack.
