Picked up a couple of bottles of this at the grocery outlet on the strength of the Borsao name. Not much nose. Main flavors are citrus, but there is a creamy mouth texture, and it went really well with cheese and antipasti. For $5 a bottle, I would certainly re-purchase.

I didnt like this bottle as much. This was more appley and the fruit pit bitterness that seemed to give the last bottle balance was gone. 85-86? I would drink these as soon as the new vintage hits the market. Still a nice value, but this bottle tasted more like an average solid albarino.

Nice little wine. This stuff seems too inexpensive for the great balance, but its not exactly serious stuff either. I like the balance of Viura/Macabeo. In addition to the bright citrus and ripe fruit on the attack, this has the fruit pit thing going on that adds a hint of bitterness and really balances the wine nicely. Also, despite the ripeness this is dry. Where this really excels is balance, if you like a S. France style white. I don't think I would confuse this for chardonnay, but for the price, I'd rather drink this than any $6 chard. Great QPR. 87+?
