  • Disappointing. Very dark ruby-purple with cooked fruit, mostly blackberries, and sweet spice. Totally atypical, far from the freshness and vibrancy one expects from a serious pinot. Full-bodied, quite dense and tannic with low acidity and a short aftertaste. The heat of the vintage has absolutely determined this wine's character.
