  • NOSE: Very rich. Crushed raspberries and cherry.

    TASTE: Medium body, "dark" raspberry taste, liquirice, fresh, quite high acidity. Medium length aftertaste.

  • My wife falls head over heels for this, and so do I ... This is Pinot Noir in lovely shape. It's light but not void of power, and above all it mixes purity with complexity in a way that i think only Pinot, Nebbiolo and Grenache succeeds with. Nosewise this starts with red currant, extremely light cherries and wonderful strawberries. Herbs, licorice, a feeling of walking through a pine forest in spring. Yes, the oak adds a touch of very elegant exotic spice. Time to drink, and everything your nose has told you is confirmed. It's so easy to drink with a bunch of fruit and an acidity that's closely related to blood oranges. But there is depth here too, it's almost like you're drinking in 3D ... Just a dream with our lamb filet with fresh tarragon and chanterelles. I don't do points, but if i did, this is 94-95-ish.

  • Very pleasant nose: clean, quite ripe fruit, mostly cherry with an extra twist, youthful complexity, herbal and decadent notes. Med. body, very fresh, very mineral palate, some spice, apples, old foliage notes, metallic aftertaste. Quite long. Fine, real Pinot with own personality.

  • Quite expensive (circa 70 euro), however, maybe the best pinot nor I have ever had. Very elegant but I would not call it complex.
    Maybe a bit of a crowdpelaser. I have not had a pinot noir that smells and taste so much raspberries since I had a bottle from New Zeeland some 3-4 years ago.
    Give it 1 hour of air in order for the fruit to show and to integrate properly.
