Medium red color. Drank 1+ glass over an hour. I had this on Tuesday evening after it was opened Sunday afternoon. My wife said it was pretty slow to open up that day and was getting better about 3 hours in, but still wasn't quite there yet. When we had it tonight, she said it really had come around. I can't speak to where it was, but I was happy with it now. This is nicely red fruited with strawberry and mixed red berries, some damp Oregon earth tones, and an evenhanded spiciness. More to medium body and with good balance. Personally, I appreciate these 2011's, not a huge vintage, amd that's the point - pretty with some finesse. This likely needs another 1 to 2 years to show to show at peak without substantial air.

Well glad I only paid $33 for this at WTSO and I can see why this weak vintage was on closeout. The "nose" was the only thing that we really liked about this wine, it was earthy with olives, dried fruit and forest floot that was easily detectable above the rim of the glass. However, the finish was thin and short and the flavor so-so. Using the Parker system (color, aroma, flavor, finish, ageing) 50+4+13+6+5+5 = 83
