  Final bottle of this 2010. And what a shame! This showed extremely well! I am usually not the biggest fan of Monte Rosso, but this was magnificent. In a great spot even if still on the younger side. I like the energy and freshness, which this has fully intact. What a wine!

  Dark garnet in color with long legs. Deep fruit flavors of black cherry, plum, black raspberry, smooth mature tannins. Dusty earth, leather, wonderfully mature and yet still bright fruit. Fantastic zinfandel.

  Amazing bottle: dark cherries, unsweetened dark chocolate, red pepper, silken tannins, significant but not-heavy mouthfeel, long finish.

  PnP. No detailed notes. Full, smooth, but not overpowering. Very nice wine. In a great place, but time left.
