  Cork soaked through, but no impact on the wine. Dark ruby, no sign of bricking. A bit shy on the nose initially, but opens up (dark berries) with time in the glass. Rich palate, good density. Dark fruited, Vosne spice, excellent acidic balance. Medium+ finish. Outperforms its level. No rush to drink, should easily maintain its current properties for at least another 5 years.

  Not super-expressive initially on the palate but with lovely freshness and tension. Quite concentrated, especially for the level. With a bit of air the fruit comes more to the fore. Not-quite integrated oak on the finish.
  Gorgeous, will hit its absolute peak in coupe of years I suspect.
