One of the best Chenin Blanc produced. Decanted for one hour. Pale, lemon colour. Shy nose that open in the glass with white fruit, citrus, mineral, jasmin. High acidity in the palate, creamy and textured body.

(Domaine Huet Vouvray Clos du Bourg Sec) Residual sugar 8 g/l, acidity 5.18 g/l, alcohol 13.6%. Another primary and floral nose here, but with a more convincing white stone character to it. Certainly a slightly more solid character to the aromas here. A very pure style, precise, with vibrant pear fruit, but with a firmer suggestion of minerality here. This is bright, characterful and defined. More substance here. A more impressive wine, certainly superior to Le Haut Lieu.
