Holy smokes...this is just singing now. Rich perfume, electric tartness, dark loam, and oodles of berries which are a touch overripe. A bit of tannin in the finish. Far from delicate, but screaming for chili and powerful good on its own. Roar!
What a fun week or so I've had with Zins; high quality Carlisle, Limerick Lane and Turley in the span of about a week. This was the last of the three, and Pesenti is always one of my favorite turleys. Big fruit, big buzz. Don't drink it all yourself in one night (three is OK), but great drinking.
