Just caught this at the tail end for the 2011 Vintage. But other strong vintages might be able to hang in longer. It was enjoyable with decent umami/balsamic, dust, red fruit, fig. Not a long lasting finish. But we still enjoyed it.

Opened a couple of hours in advance. Surprisingly dark purple hue for a 2011 Graves. While there was not much tannin, it also was surprisingly structured and broad-shouldered. Quite rich and vibrant. The fruit wasn’t primary but it was pronounced. Very enjoyable and rather impressive,

Way better than expected. Promising nose, OK palate (dark fruit). Tannins OK. Firm structure. Lovely, considering this case was bought in a super marché some time ago.
