Blinded. Nose was mellow red berry fruit. Tons of earthy soil, and spice notes. Palate shows full resolution with a hint of bitterness on the finish. Probably has gone past its prime, but enjoyable to sip on.

DRC @ WS: Color was pale showing the age, but the intensity wasn't dialed down at all. Soaring from the glass with loads of hoisin, black tea and spices. Ethereal and fully integrated palate with so many layers of complexity. Did not need much air, but plateaued for most of the night before finally fading after 4 hours. WOTN

It seemed several years past its peak. the tannins have completely disolved. it felt like a funky mouldy wine at this stage, kind of like how a bio-dynamic wine tastes. it went well with roasted duck and quail. very game oriented wine.

some strawberry and underbrush left on the palate, mostly faded with some rose water and spice. It had seen better days before
