Loads of complexity — green apples, matchstick, flinty minerals, subtle bell peppers; very fresh 12 years from vintage. Served a little cooler than cellar temp, which seems just right. Impressive quality.

Tasted over 2 hrs -translucent light gold green -lees-y wet stone and a bit of reduction -med acidity gives a gentle lift, med- weight soft mildly tart stony yellow fruit, good length -still drinking very well

Also said goodbye to my last 2011 Briords. $16 on release and drinks like a wine worth four times as much. Classic: chalk, lemon, and brine. This was drinking a touch cleaner and with more fruit than the 2010 on the night. Showing very nicely, not a bad time to drink one if you still have them. The little wine that could.
