Pretty close to my previous notes from May but only decanted for 1 hour before it started opening up. Having it tonight with pork ribs with an Asian hoisin cranberry sauce. Wonderful match. I still have another bottle that I will try in another 6 months.
Dark garnet/purple. Ripe red plum nose and a smoky meat with spice. Spicy red fruit, jerky, and crunchy tannins. Nice chalk mid palate and medium plus acid. This improves with an hour of airtime and held up the next day.
