Memorial Day Weekend & Eyrie South Block Reserve Pinots (Willamette Valley, Oregon): Nice, very forward aromas offering plenty of honeydew melon. The palate has an odd dryness to it, but it also feels a bit metallic. Not really much in the way of flavors going on with its soft texture. The finish tastes like a salty bathtub. There's a metallic dryness to it, like I just ate metal. This isn't too strong of a flavor, but there's really not much else there so it stands out.

Straw yellow and lite in the glass. Tropical fruit, honey, crème brûlée and citrus on the nose. Med-lite body and zesty with tropical fruit and bright, saline minerals on palate. Tropical fruit becomes mouthwatering mid-palate. Med-short finish. Delicious.
