Decanted for 1,5 hours. Cork was in good shape. Subtle aromas of sous bois, dark fruit and a whiff of mocha on the nose. Medium to full bodied, supple and smooth, delivering rather vibrant tart red and dark fruit with a slightly mellow aspect and discreet sous bois notes. Smooth, gentle tannins and firm acidity. This is surprisingly youthful still and showing great balance. Outstanding stuff.

Very good Bordeaux blend with graphite, cedar, and tobacco/humidor character that is admirably balanced by a core of dark cassis fruit. A tad underwhelming compared to previous encounters but still eminently enjoyable. However, its best days appear to be behind it; time to go ahead and drink up to make room for something with more legs.
