Lunch and playdate for kids at Roy + Shuya's (Singapore): This was a throwback to our visit to Piedmont 6 years ago. A really interesting wine - rather as intellectual as it was pleasing though. Certainly one for the geeks. The nose had a nice sweet tone to it, rather reminiscent of an Alsace Riesling, with scents of honey and stone fruit, but also butressed with more savoury, funky notes of cheese and mineral. The rich, oily textured palate was marked with ripe stone fruit, musky flowers and sweet spice flavours; heavy-weight, but lifted with really bright, lemony acidity and a good spine of minerality moving into a saline, almost salty finish. An edgy, characterful wine that demanded attention from the drinker, but certainly interesting. I liked this.
Smell: Major petrol, lime, and guava fruit. Stone fruit as well. A dead ringer for riesling. Palate: Petrol notes and quite mineral. Excellent acid. Plenty of caramel, peach, and apple. Salty on the finish. Great depth. The most riesling-esque non riesling I've ever consumed.

Aromatico e profumato di erbe mediterranee. Sempre molto piacevole con un sottofondo floreale e di miele. Frutta bianca dolce. Piacevole mineralità. Un vino che dimostra sempre personalità ed eleganza. Molto versatile negli abbinamenti.

Pale gold in color. Strong nose on the wine, I get pear and apple. Fairly high acidity, Medium + body. Tart in taste, some apple. Acidity balances out the body as another comment has stated.
