Not too bad for $7. A big wine, mostly ps and and syrah. Juicy dark fruit on the full body and sweet gripping tannins. A little overripe but still very enjoyable.

Not decanted, consumed over 1 1/2 hours. Somewhat generic but not too bad overall, with dark berry/cranberry notes and just enough structure to notice. Better with a little air. Fairly priced at $7, and reasonably comparable to CdRs in this range for simple crowd-pleasing drinking.

Medium dark ruby red. In the nose red fruits, some marzipan (almond), and a slightly salty smell. Light bodied and silky, with cherry and chocolate notes, low tannins and a nice pepper note paired with good acidity. Very drinkable and fun everyday wine.

Very ripe, a little too ripe for me. Big fruit but a little over the top with the oak. Vanilla and caramel on the finish. My first bottle was better.

Sweet licorice. A flavor that I know but can't put my finger on it.
