Classic aged burgundy nose composing of dried red fruit, cherry, cinnamon, leather, decay, sous bois and earth. On the palate, it was lively with just the right amount of secondary character kicking in. Agree old Faiveley is good if not super interesting. Very enjoyable.

When these 93s are good, they are VERY good. Pnp, light pours, it changed in the glass every 10 minutes. After about 30-45 min, it degraded. This experience is why I love burgundy so much- it is alive and a journey to behold

Prime time drinking window. Decanted an hour before heading to Bistro Jeanty. Decanted at the restaurant and drank over 2 hours.
Alcohol 13..5% was hidden but when I felt the buzz towards the end of the bottle I had to take a look as was confused why I was so trashed! Hit me like a new world bomb.
Think will hold remaining bottles a few years to see where this goes. It is well integrated now just a question if it will get better? Time will tell.
