Last of the bottle for this vintage and will require a reload. As mentioned in the previous notes, good balance of acid, medium plus weight but not flabby, stone fruit and pear, resulting in what is the best of Viognier and chardonnay. I should take a point off for the size of the bottle, it might be a champagne bottle or bigger.
What a lovely wine this is! The fruit is beautiful - reminds me of a riper/ richer style Albarino. There is just a kiss of oak to accompany an almost (but not quite) Chardonnay-like richness, with more of a sweet stone-fruit and tangerine profile, than apple/ orchard. Great "off the beaten path" wine to try.
