Starts off tight and austere, takes a bit of oxygen to get some joy out of this one. Very light nose of cherry and cranberries, and a hint of stems. The palate is very delicate, austere cherry and red fruit flavors, apples, and just a hint of caramel in the finish. The flavor intensity is low while the weight is somewhere in the light to medium, there is weight on the palate despite the delicate nature of the wine, pretty interesting and cool. Juicy, late hitting acidity and tannin that are well integrated with the flavors and don't distract from the flavor on the wine. This is one of the lightest 2010 OPNs out there in a vintage of light wines, but this is in a style that is different, interesting, and well done. A geeky wine, and a fine companion to dinner tonight.

Knowing the story of Teutonic a not unsurprisingly light red in the glass, muted nose, lighter bodied, hints of tart cherries, good acidity, very good with the food, very understated, attractive, but I feel it just needs a little more oomph to make it more interesting

Drinkable, but tired and past its peak. Oh well.

This wine is a delightful light variant on most PN.
A pleasurable oddity; gripNsip reviews this wine perfectly.
