  • Oliver's Off-piste Piedmont (Bottles, Spitalfields): Really good. Offers lovely refreshment, really deep and delightful, with dark balsamic fruit and some fresh earthiness. Very long and a smashing food wine.

  • Decanted off the sediment, this opened up in the decanter and was bets after an hour ish. It was medium body and quite elegant, the Nebbiolo cherry was there on the nose, but the palate was definitely barbera and darker fruited. Lovely wine drinking very well now, will last.

  • Quite dark and opaque at the core but lightens and fades towards the rim. At this stage it still needs some time in a decanter to open up, we gave it around 2 hrs and this really helped the aromas emerge more, and they leap from the glass now, it's quite floral in a savoury way, if that makes any sense ? The tannins are quite fine and sit behind a good depth of deep brooding fruit, the finish is very long and satisfying. This is drinkable now, but will definitely improve with more time, great stuff.

  • Beautiful blend of the best Barbera(80%) and Nebbiolo(20%) grapes from NF. It is refined and has a extraordinary clear and dark expression. It is like every stroke is painted on a clean canvas. Tannins are silky and acidity is pure. Wonderful spices, mint, roses, leather etc. give the overtones to the ripe plum and blackberries. Should evolve over the next decade or so. Highly recommended
