Dark purple, lightening towards the edges. Smell is heavy on the ethanol, reasonably bright, dark, blue fruits, spices. Evolved to more raspberry and vanilla notes by 1.5 hrs decant, rhubarb pie. Taste is notably rounded tannins but still big fruit, alcohol and oak. Spicy. The acetone vibe never blew off taste wise, but the oak and fruit opened up to mask it more, making it a solid, well aged new world cab. Solid QPR.

Dark berry fruit mixes with baking spices (especially cinnamon) to give the sensation that one is drinking a blackberry pie -- albeit one cooked in woody oak, because oak plays a big role in the flavor profile. The flavor turns to dark cherry on the back end. Not bad but there are moderately strong wood and leather components that I don't resonate to.
