Decanted for sediment. Dark purple to the edge. Shy at first, but opening with nice perfume of black currants, cherry and a bit of earth. Currants, cherry and a bit of black raspberry to taste. Good balance with a bit of tannin yet. Long, lingering finish. This is in a good place now. Wanted to see how Ravenwood Zins aged. This may last longer, not sure. My last bottle in any case. May be a few left in New Hampshire. I see them, I will pick up another.

Lovely aromatics, floral. Deep purple, medium body, only slight pepper -- this is a sophisticated zin. Very enjoyable. Excellent with a spicy dish.

Tart and zesty. Cranberry, cherry and currant fruit. Not much in the way of secondary character, but it was sleek and easygoing.
