  Two hour slow ox. Lovely nose of of cherry, flowers and herbs. The palate is full bodied with reasonable depth and complexity but holding something back on the finish.

  This has blossomed nicely. After 30 minutes decant it’s drinking well. Subtle floral nose leads to enveloping palate of raspberry, cherry, herbs and earth. The wine is medium bodied, shows no 2011 green characteristics, grand cru concentration, oak is now well integrated, still some back tannin. This is just hitting early maturity.

  Rouge grenat, fruits mures, assez profond, bonne acidité, tannins moyen, belle structure, un pinot tout en profondeur mais je constate réellement que les vins de Francois Lamarche sont d'un style plus rustique et non de finesse. J'ai quand même bien aimé son profil différent des autres GC de cette dégustation.

  Nice, but the 2014 was a much better wine.
  Wait 3-4 years, and maybe something special could show up. Fingers crossed.
