Didn't have time to decant, but should have done as this obviously needed it and improved significantly in the glass. The palate is clean with blackberry and raspberry, with granite definitely showing through on the mineral side of things.Tasted blind, I would probably have gone with high end beaujolais (e.g., morgon or moulin-à-vent VV), which is no doubt just a reflection of the granite terroir, though there are also obviously syrah/cornas components, namely, a certain tannic rusticity. I was a little disappointed by this, given the high scores from the critics. It could improve though and a proper decant could have made a big difference. 89-92
Well, there is definitely and uptake from the Granit 30. Simply more of everything, including definition, drive, and layers across the mid palate. Like the 30, incredibly youthful. Bigger is sometimes better I guess.
