Tannins are resolved and the mid-palate transitions well into the finish, but even after 2.5 hours the aroma is a bit green and tight. Not bad wine, but so far, at least, it doesn’t measure up to other vintages of Chevillon.

Wonderful to drink now. Still on the fruit, but with lots of complexity. Earthy and iron notes on the palate, which shows strong but fine-grained tannins.

Same feeling as the previous poster. Not great, not terrible. Eminently drinkable burgundy. The mild green notes, while not overwhelming, endow this wine and most of the 2011 burgundy bottles I have opened with a simple mediocrity. Glad I don't own many from that year.

Started off with muscular tannins and a bit light on the fruit. As I am not a fan of ‘11 red burgs, I wasn’t expecting much- but after 30-40 minutes the tannins became gentle framing for the red Berry fruit and spice one expects to find in. Nuit. Much better than expected!
