  Paid $10. Punches at $30+. Deep dark color. Dark fruits, balance, medium finish. Will try to find more.

  Opened after a corked 2008 Termes and was very pleasantly surprised by the 2010. It's in a perfect drinking window. Body color is black as night. Nose has sweet blackberry, dark plum, cassis. Palate is grippy, juicy, and savory with dark berries, cassis, plum, charred oak, tannins, and slight dill and mint. Very satisfying with or without a meal. 92-93 points.

  Really a rich, luscious wine. Deep red color, aromas of dark red and black fruit, light touch of earthiness and minerality. On the palate, an initial sensation of spice, followed by the silkiest, smoothest, velvety texture and intense dark fruit (black currant, damson plum, blackberry, black raspberry, cranberry). Followed by a medium-long finish of muted fruit with a touch of wood, minerality, and earthiness, with smooth, silky tannins. Last bottle in my cellar, but more of another vintage.

  Aging well. Great in the glass -- deep red, legs. A little bitter on the first taste, but very approachable.
