1855 Pinot Noir Tasting (1855): Appearance is clear, pale intensity, ruby colour. Short thin legs. Nose is clean, light intensity, with aromas of fresh red fruit. Youthful. On the palate, dry, high acidity, medium- alcohol, low tannins, light body. Light flavor intensity, with flavours of red cherry. Short finish. Thin and like dilute grape-juice. Acceptable quality for quaffing over a simple meal. Drink now. Not suitable for ageing.

This wine is good for what it is, a straightforward, light pinot fom burgundy, no faults, just an ok wine.

Another bottle of this made its way onto my dining table.
No significant improvement.
Short, thin and a bit green.
