Bought these to make up an allocation. Always felt them to be a decent enough drink but this whole lockdown thing brought me back to the taste of lower end burgundy. Lovely stuff, just as it should be - somewhat savoury but a touch more etherial than one has a right to expect at this appelation or price. As always - the last bottle was the best...so looking forward to pulling the 12s out of storage next time I have room for some regular drinking burg...

Hazy crimson ruby. Reserved nose shows a touch of wild cherry and berry along with clove spice and moss. Well made and elegant, quite light, needs time open, and even then still pretty coy. From the list, Side by Side, Tuscaloosa, Al.

Bought a case of this wine on recommendation from a merchant and in order to make up an allocation of grander wines...no great hopes but expecting it to be nice enough. Saw a bottle in a local store and decided to buy it to see what I had waiting for me...
Really nice stuff - lovely fruit, very precise, hint of cherry but not too much - whilst one would not confuse it for a 1er it performs very well in its category and at this price is most excellent value too.

A rock solid, beautiful wine, grown the same year as my beautiful, rock solid son. Happy Birthday, Hudson, you are the best.
