No detailed notes on this one, just to say that it’s a little rough around the edges. Acidity and tannins not smoothed out. Not sure time will help. Ok for entry level Burg, but there is better pinot out there from other parts of the world at this price

Appealing, somewhat funky and slightly green nose. On the palate, this is fairly austere and wound up. Seems to be in a quiet place- perhaps it gets better with age?

Another Pavelot 2011 with a solid showing. A bit of bricking and starting to show the age. Nice nose of underbrush and earth. On the palate it's high toned and a little tart - definitely needs food to show its best.

Dark ruby red, slight bricking in color, but color is homogeneous. A little turpentine in the nose along with fruit. Red and black fruits in taste. I think it may need a little more time to fully blossom. I will wait 2-3 years to try next bottle. 91 with possible upside.

First smell of a touch of smoke and toast after cork out. Four hour decant. Cherries and minerals throughout the start to the finish. Very good and will improve more with age.
