  Perfectly aged and obviously outstanding. Near perfect balance, with tension. Excellent concentration, and bright fruit - raspberry, strawberry, blueberry and blackberry. Very long finish, with beautiful layering. Sensational, one of the finest red burgundy wines I have had. Never expected this wine to be this superb.

  rose day: dark ruby with lightly cloudy translucence. Nose slightly musty, some earth; fleshy red cherries with a bit of funk. Palate surprisingly light/balanced, transparent red fruits yet density on the midpalate, hint of baking spice. A lovely drink and at apogee to my taste. 93 pts

  Ripe and dense, lots of fruit here. Palate is also relatively full bodied but all is well measured and remains balanced. Aromas of dark fruit, sweet spices and some torrefaction.
