It needed at least 45 minutes to open up, but once it was open, it was singing nicely. It has a great deal of fruit left, but the tannins have mostly receded to the background. In the mouth it was classic village gevrey with earth and dark fruit dominating. A little too much oak, but other wise a very nice wine, especially for the price.
