Pale pink. Amazing delicate dried rose petal notes. Ethereal notes here. Superb. Very long and complex. Drinking wonderfully today, will carry on for decades yet.
This was bottled by The Army & Navy Stores.

Pale ruby with a tawny hue, very aromatic but clearly quite an old bottle: I get rose petals, orange bitters, but also a distinct camphor note. On the palate most of the fruit is long gone, but the flavors are dominated by red currents or cranberry, white chocolate, and then a rather hot finish where I find surprising acidity that lifts and defines the port. Still has a story to tell...
