  • Pale reddish brown colour. Opens up with cooked strawberries, cherries and earth. Simple, yet quite delicious and well made. Good for drinking now and don't think this will keep much longer, so better drink up.

  • Slightly pale ruby color. Grape, cherries with a hint of dirt on the nose. Wonderful and bright – puts a smile on my face. While still young and primary, there is nothing offensive about the nose. A “pretty” wine that is full of sweet fruit flavors, no hard edges and a long, pleasing finish. Light weight but very good intensity. I am sure this will develop well for another 5 to 7 years, but I find it hard not to want to drink this now. A perfect burgundy for once a week drinking. Really delicious. (89)

  • Served as part of a mini flight at Ferry Plaza Wine Merchants in SF. Starts out with a strong clove and spice box nose; later develops more eucalyptus with medicinal touches; the finish is dry but hollow and unsatisfying in the middle. Ths was the only wine I could not finish and did not want to finish.
